About Us
As a Certified Newborn Care Specialist (CNCS), Certified Sleep Consultant, Certified Postpartum Doula, and Certified Medical Assistant, I bring over 18 years of experience to every family that I work with. I pride myself on being a loving, trustworthy, and ethical individual and I'm passionate about setting growing families up for long term success.
My journey into this line of work started 29 years ago when I became a mom to a beautiful little girl, Gabriela. As a single mom, I faced many challenges in raising her, but with determination and dedication and love, I was able to provide my daughter with all of the things she needed.
After becoming a mother I knew that I wanted to transition my career, and help other families going through the same struggles I had. I wanted to find a career that would allow me to be at home with my daughter as much as possible, but also be a career that I was passionate about and felt fulfilling.
After several years of working with many families as a babysitter and nanny, I started looking into certification programs and dedicated myself to learning everything I could about newborn care. After becoming certified as a Newborn Care Specialist, I went on to become certified in Sleep Consulting and Postpartum Doula work.
I also have my Medical Assistant certification, which gives me the ability to understand and work with newborns that have medical issues, and because of this background, I've worked with many special needs newborns as well as families with multiples.
I like to think of myself as an ongoing student, as I love to learn and I'm always looking for ways to expand my knowledge. As a result, I'm always enrolling in courses that can help me further my practice. I'm a firm believer that knowledge is power and my goal is to make sure that the families I work with have the tools and information they need to achieve success.
When I'm not at work, I'm either working out, doing activities in nature, going to the beach, or traveling with my husband. I cherish spending quality time with my family and friends, which helps to keep me grounded, focused, and refreshed so that when I go back to work, I am filled with energy and enthusiasm.
I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with families and help them during such a special time in their lives, and I'm grateful for the trust that families place in me to provide them with education, support, and guidance. It's a great honor and a privilege to be able to do this work.
